The Greendale Chamber of Commerce worked in conjunction with six other chamber organizations to form a new
networking group – ABLE South.
The acronym ABLE stands for Active Business Leads Exchange. As a part of the ABLE South networking group,
Greendale Chamber members are invited to attend monthly luncheon meetings. The meetings provide Chamber members
with an opportunity to interact with other professionals in the south suburban area and to refer business to each
other. Other participating Chambers include: Greenfield, Muskego, South Milwaukee, South Suburban, West Allis/West
Milwaukee, and West Suburban.
ABLE meetings are structured and include the following: an opportunity for each attendee to give a 30-second
overview of their business, a five minute presentation by a pre-determined speaker, the sharing of success stories,
and time for networking.
Membership in the ABLE South networking group is part of your existing Greendale Chamber membership – there is
no additional fee. The only cost is a nominal charge for lunch at the meeting. Meetings are held at Knight of
Columbus, 3200 S. 103rd Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin. Please see the ABLE South Registration Form for further
details.
There are three other ABLE groups in the area: ABLE West, ABLE North and ABLE 6. All three groups have grown
through the main group of ABLE West which has been in existence for over ten years, averaging 70-80 participants
per meeting. It has proven to be one of the most successful networking groups in the Milwaukee area.
