Dear Prospective Member:
The Greendale Chamber of Commerce invites you to become a member of our organization and join us in our mission to promote the success of local businesses and enhance the quality of life in our community.
Member benefits include networking opportunities through breakfast meetings, after-hours events, and monthly ABLE (Active Business Leads Exchange) luncheons. The Greendale Chamber provides advertising for members through our website, publications, and signage. Each year, the Chamber spearheads the Shop Greendale 1st Campaign encouraging community members to support local businesses.
In addition to providing benefits for members, the Greendale Chamber of Commerce also supports the community. The Chamber sponsors numerous events such as Village Days, Hay Days, the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and A Dickens of a Christmas. We are pleased to be able to donate funds to local community organizations and initiatives such as the Greendale School District, Public Celebrations Committee, and Step Up to Better Health. To help community members learn more about candidates pursuing local office, the Chamber and the League of Women Voters host a Voters Forum each spring. Through our Greendale Greeters program, new homeowners are welcomed to the community with a gift basket filled with products, coupons and information highlighting local businesses. In 2011, we established the Greendale Chamber Scholarship Program and awarded our first scholarship to a high school senior in Greendale pursuing a degree in business at a four-year college. This year, we hope to increase the amount of the scholarship award.
